Biography

Born in Malaysia, Fern has shown interest and talent in art during her high school years. She was able to excel in this area and obtained several awards in competitions for calligraphy, drawing, poster design, etc.

She pursued her interest and studied Graphic Design at the Limkokwing University, College of Creative Technology, a prominent design institute in Malaysia for 3 years. She was given the opportunity to work for an international advertising company, NEWS Advertising (M) Sdn Bhd, for her internship.

After graduation, she had chose to start her career in a design house in Singapore. At the design agency, Patroids Creative Works Pte Ltd, she was given the opportunities to display her creativity and was soon promoted to senior designer. As senior designer, she was involved in the conceptualization and art direction of many major projects with the local and international institutions. These have given her much exposure and experience in designing corporate identity, annual report and marketing publication, etc. and her proficiency in design software as well as print knowledge.

With her passion to create more great works and her thirst for more knowledge, she is currently pursuing a degree in University of New York State at Buffalo, majoring in Bachelor of Fine Art with a concentration in Communication Designs.
