Artists' Statement

As a Graphic Designer, Fern expressly emphasizes the conveyance of the message carried by the product by using typography, imagery and wording. She serves as a liaison between product and public, rather than as a "Designer". In addition to being inventive, her designed piece is dominated by the product itself. Leading by the rhythm and specialty of the product, every piece enfolds its own personality and uniqueness. Fern as designer embraces a range of professional knowledge, including brainstorming ideas, visualizing rough drafts and final artwork. With imagination and faithfulness at heart, her artwork has the intentions of bringing out her own impressions of design. What makes her pieces unusual is the communication within them.
